About this course

Plan, film, and publish short-form content — and turn an audience into real income.

Many people jump into content creation just because they see others making money or getting famous, only to quickly get tired. This often happens because they haven't found their niche – that specific thing you talk about or do that makes your content unique.

Who this course is for

For anyone with a phone and something to say: students, small-business owners who need to market themselves, aspiring influencers, and professionals who want an audience in their field. It is deliberately short and practical, built for the person who has posted for years without growth and wants to understand why.

Pay, demand and the market in Nigeria

Nigeria has more than 40 million active social media users, and brands moved a large share of their marketing budgets to creators between 2023 and 2026. Micro-creators with 10,000 to 50,000 engaged followers charge ₦30,000 to ₦150,000 per sponsored post in 2026; mid-tier creators ₦200,000 to ₦1 million; and creators who sell their own products or services often earn more from an audience of 5,000 than influencers earn from 100,000. TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts all pay Nigerian creators directly now, though the rates are modest compared with brand deals and affiliate income.

Tools and what it costs to start

A phone with a decent camera, CapCut or InShot (free), Canva (free tier) for covers, natural light and a quiet room. A ₦5,000 to ₦15,000 phone tripod and a ₦8,000 to ₦20,000 clip-on microphone are the only upgrades that noticeably improve quality in the first months.

A seven-day content series on a public profile — seven pieces, one theme — plus a reflection document with screenshots of your analytics. The examiner looks at consistency, at whether each piece has a hook and a point, and at what you learned from the numbers, not at follower counts.
