About this course

A clear-eyed literacy course for Nigerians on digital assets and retail currency trading: what a coin, a stablecoin and a leveraged forex account really are, how volatility, spreads and leverage grind small accounts down, where the CBN and SEC have stood at different times (and why that keeps moving), and — the heart of the course — the full anatomy of the scams built on top: fake account managers, signal sellers, guaranteed-return Ponzis in the MMM and CBEX mould, cloned exchange apps, romance and pig-butchering setups, P2P payment-reversal traps and celebrity impersonation. You will finish able to verify a platform, protect a seed phrase, report a fraud properly through your bank, the EFCC, the police cybercrime channel, the SEC and the platform itself, and — in a closing lesson — recognise the registrations and legal duties that land on anyone who goes further, from SEC registration for advising or managing other people's money, to VASP and SCUML/NFIU anti-money-laundering obligations, CAC registration, tax and data-protection duties. This is not a trading course. There are no signals, no strategies and no way to profit taught here — anyone selling you one is the subject matter, not the teacher. Everything here is education, NOT financial or investment advice: Skillnaija recommends no coin, exchange, broker, wallet or platform, nothing in the course is a suggestion that you invest in anything, every figure and regulatory statement is accurate only as at the time of writing and must be confirmed with the authority named, and a Skillnaija certificate is a record of learning — never a licence, registration or permit.
