About this course

Learn to plan Nigerian events end to end — weddings, birthdays, corporate programmes and church events. You will run a proper discovery call, build a line-item budget with contingency, quote your own fee honestly (flat vs percentage vs markup), build a bench of vetted vendors, write a run-of-show, and handle event-day reality: generator and power safety, food hygiene, rain, traffic, late vendors, aso-ebi, souvenirs and gate crashers. You will also cover the paperwork layer most planners never learn — CAC registration, written contracts with clients and vendors, police notification and venue approvals for large gatherings, fire exits, the music licence a collecting society may require for public play, state noise rules, caterer hygiene, security and insurance — all of it hedged and pointed at the authority you must confirm with, because requirements vary by state and change. By the end you can plan and coordinate a full event on paper and on the day, and keep your guests safe and your business lawful while you do it.
