About this course

This is a build-it course, not a read-about-it course. Across fourteen lessons you make one real app, BukkaBook, a pre-ordering app for a Lagos bukka, and every lesson adds working code you can run: the menu page in HTML and CSS, JavaScript that renders it, Git and GitHub to save your work, Node and Express for your first API, SQL and SQLite for real data, parameterised queries and validation, sign-in with hashed passwords and roles, the frontend and backend joined so a customer can order, two lessons on coding with an AI assistant without being fooled by it, deployment to a free host with Postgres, and testing, security basics and the path to a developer job from Nigeria. You need a laptop or desktop from lesson 2; lessons can be read on a phone. Free, like every Skillnaija course, and the capstone earns a certificate that links to a live app you built.

One submission with the live URL, the public GitHub repository URL, and a link to (or upload of) the README as a PDF or Word file with the screenshots embedded. The reviewer will open the live app, read the code, and check the commit history.
