About this course

Every year Nigerian families spend their savings chasing a degree abroad, and a painful share of that money buys nothing but a refusal letter, an agent's silence, or a school nobody has heard of. The first nine lessons walk the whole applicant journey: deciding whether to go at all, shortlisting programmes your money can survive, getting transcripts and WAEC verification moving months early, sitting the right tests, funding it without fraud, writing a statement of purpose that sounds like a person, handling offers and deposits, facing the visa, and recognising the agent behaviours that precede a scam. The rest of the course is a full consultancy training: the destination countries in depth — the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States, Ireland and Australasia, Germany and continental Europe, and the affordable African and Asian options — followed by the written procedures a real advisory practice runs on, from intake scripts and case-file standards to visa-file assembly, refusal analysis, pricing, data protection, university partnerships, honest marketing, hiring and quality audits. For the capstone you build a complete costed case file for one real target programme, with the funding gap, the document timeline, the honest refusal risks, and the engagement terms an honest adviser would put in writing.

Your project

Build a costed study-abroad case file for one real programme

A written case file of roughly 1,000 to 1,800 words covering: the named programme, institution and intake with a defended reason for choosing it; a dated, itemised first-year cost in destination currency and naira at a stated rate, repeated at a rate twenty per cent worse; a funding plan separating confirmed from uncertain money with the naira gap and at least two named sources; the destination country's own requirements with an official source and read-date for each, and an honest note of anything you could not confirm; a backwards-dated document timeline naming every slow item and the two most likely to be late; and a closing risk section and adviser's note with refusal grounds, money at risk by stage, a costed plan B, one admitted weakness, and written terms of engagement that promise neither a visa nor an admission.
