About this course

An in-depth, hands-on makeup course built for Nigerian skin and the Nigerian events market. You will learn the consultation that protects you and your client, skin prep for humid Lagos heat and dry harmattan air, how to match foundation to deep skin without ash or orange, colour correcting and concealing, contour, highlight and blush that actually show, brows, eyeshadow, liner and strip lashes applied safely, lips and finishing that last all day, and the hygiene that keeps eyes and skin safe. Then you put it together on the wedding day: the bridal trial, the traditional and white-wedding looks, the bridal train and gele, and makeup that looks right in photos, not just in the mirror. The last lessons turn skill into income: a portfolio built honestly, prices and deposits, a written booking agreement, buying genuine products, and the CAC and NAFDAC lines every artist should know. Lessons include real photos, short silent technique clips and tutorials from established makeup artists that play only when you tap them, so no data is used until you choose. It is Chiamaka's first Saturday as Funmi's apprentice in Surulere.
