What you will submit
A single study and exam-readiness pack (shared doc link or pasted text) containing: organised notes on every core service category, 15 self-made CLF-C02-style practice questions each with the correct answer and a why-explanation, a dated study schedule running to a chosen exam day, and a personal readiness checklist.
What to do, step by step
- Write organised study notes covering each core service category from the course — compute (EC2, Lambda), storage (S3 and its classes), databases (RDS, DynamoDB), networking (VPC, CloudFront, Route 53), security (shared-responsibility model, IAM, least privilege), pricing/billing (Free Tier, the three billing tools, the four support plans), the global setup (Regions, Availability Zones, edge locations), and the six Well-Architected pillars — with a one-or-two-line plain-English summary of what each service or concept does.
- Create 15 of your OWN practice questions in the real CLF-C02 style (multiple-choice or multiple-response), covering a spread of topics — at least one on compute, storage, databases, networking, security/IAM, pricing/support, and Well-Architected — using the keyword patterns taught in Lesson 7 (e.g. 'MOST cost-effective', 'highly available', 'who is responsible').
- For every one of your 15 questions, give the correct answer AND a one-to-two-sentence explanation of WHY it's right and why the tempting wrong options are wrong, the way the sample questions in Lesson 7 were explained.
- Build a dated study schedule running from today to a chosen exam day — list which topics/lessons you'll revise on which days, when you'll do timed practice tests, and the actual date you plan to book and sit CLF-C02, leaving a final week for pure practice-testing as advised.
- Add a short personal readiness checklist (e.g. 'I can explain the shared-responsibility model', 'I can match a scenario to the cheapest pricing option', 'I can name all six Well-Architected pillars') so you can track when you're truly ready.
- Submit your complete pack as a shared document link (Google Doc, Notion, or similar set to viewable) OR paste the full pack as text — it must contain the notes, all 15 questions with answers and explanations, the dated schedule, and the readiness checklist.

| Criterion | Weight |
|---|---|
| Notes cover all the core service categories (compute, storage, databases, networking, security, pricing/billing, global setup, Well-Architected) with clear, correct plain-English summaries | 30% |
| There are 15 practice questions in genuine CLF-C02 style, spread across topics rather than clustered on one area | 25% |
| Every question has the correct answer AND a sound explanation of why it's right (and ideally why the wrong options are wrong) | 25% |
| A dated study schedule runs to a specific chosen exam day, including time for timed practice tests in the final stretch | 12% |
| A personal readiness checklist is included so the learner can gauge when they're ready to sit the exam | 8% |
You need 65% overall to pass. A failed submission comes back with feedback and can be revised and resubmitted.
Before you submit: make your link public
If your work lives in Google Drive or Google Docs, open Share → General access and change “Restricted” to “Anyone with the link” (Viewer). Then paste the link into a private browser window: if it opens without sign-in, you are ready. A private link cannot be graded — it is the single most common reason a good project fails.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to finish AWS Cloud Practitioner Prep before submitting the project?
Yes. The submission screen opens once every lesson in AWS Cloud Practitioner Prep is marked complete. The lessons are where the methods, the Nigerian context and the worked examples the project depends on are taught.
How is the project graded?
An examiner scores each rubric criterion from 0 to 100 and weights them as shown on this page; you need 65% overall to pass. Most submissions are graded within minutes and you get written feedback on what was strong and what to improve.
Can I resubmit if I fail?
Yes. A failed project comes back with feedback; revise the weak parts and resubmit. A passed project is final — the certificate is issued and cannot be re-rolled.
What do I actually submit?
A write-up of what you did (under 5,000 characters). You can mention a public link to supporting files in the write-up. The free project workbook on this page walks you through all 6 steps.
Is the certificate real?
Yes. Passing this project issues a certificate with a unique verification code. Anyone — an employer, a client, a school — can open the verification page and see that the certificate is genuine and which project earned it.
