What you will submit
A single live website link (published and openable for assessment) PLUS a short text note containing: the business and tool choice with reasons, a description of your pages and the CMS Collection (what it holds, the detail + listing pages), confirmation that you tested the contact form, your SEO basics, and your go-to-market note (price, retainer, how you'd find your first client). If any part of the site isn't visible without context, include screenshots.
What to do, step by step
- Choose one real or realistic Nigerian business and decide which tool fits it best — Framer or Webflow. Write one or two sentences naming the business, what the site is for, and why you chose that tool.
- Design and build a multi-page site of at least THREE pages (for example Home, About/Services, and a CMS-driven page such as a Blog, Listings, Menu or Portfolio). Apply the design rules from Lesson 2: a clear visual hierarchy, generous whitespace, at most two fonts, a restrained colour palette, and a consistent button/heading style. The homepage must have a proper nav bar, a hero with a clear call-to-action, and a footer with contact details.
- Include a CMS-driven section with a Collection of at least FIVE items (e.g. blog posts, properties, menu dishes or portfolio projects) using a single detail template plus a listing page — so adding a new item generates a new designed page automatically. Use a ₦ price field where relevant.
- Add a working, tested contact or booking FORM (Name, Email/Phone, Message) plus a WhatsApp button (a wa.me link). Submit the form yourself to confirm it works. Do the SEO basics: a clear page Title and Meta Description, one H1 per page, image alt text, and clean URLs.
- Make the site genuinely responsive and fast on mobile — design/check the phone view, and add at most one or two tasteful animations (e.g. a scroll fade-in), nothing excessive. Publish to a live link (a free framer.website / webflow.io subdomain is fine, or connect a custom domain if you have one) and confirm it opens correctly on a real phone.
- Write a short note (5-7 sentences) covering: your design choices (layout, fonts, colours and why), your CMS choice (what the Collection holds and why a CMS suited this site), why you chose Framer vs Webflow for this client, and a go-to-market line — the one-off price in ₦ you'd charge, a monthly retainer figure, and how you'd find and pitch your first client like this.

| Criterion | Weight |
|---|---|
| Design quality & professionalism — clear hierarchy, whitespace, disciplined fonts/colours, consistent styling, and a complete homepage (nav, hero with CTA, footer) | 25% |
| Structure & responsiveness — at least three real pages, genuinely responsive and fast on mobile, with at most tasteful animation | 20% |
| CMS section — a Collection of 5+ items with a single detail template and a listing page that generates pages automatically (₦ price where relevant) | 20% |
| Forms, SEO & publishing — a tested contact/booking form plus WhatsApp button, the SEO basics done, and a live, openable published link | 20% |
| Tool choice & go-to-market note — a sound Framer-vs-Webflow decision with reasons, plus realistic ₦ pricing, a retainer figure, and a clear plan to find the first client | 15% |
You need 65% overall to pass. A failed submission comes back with feedback and can be revised and resubmitted.
Before you submit: make your link public
If your work lives in Google Drive or Google Docs, open Share → General access and change “Restricted” to “Anyone with the link” (Viewer). Then paste the link into a private browser window: if it opens without sign-in, you are ready. A private link cannot be graded — it is the single most common reason a good project fails.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to finish No-Code Website Building with Framer & Webflow before submitting the project?
Yes. The submission screen opens once every lesson in No-Code Website Building with Framer & Webflow is marked complete. The lessons are where the methods, the Nigerian context and the worked examples the project depends on are taught.
How is the project graded?
An examiner scores each rubric criterion from 0 to 100 and weights them as shown on this page; you need 65% overall to pass. Most submissions are graded within minutes and you get written feedback on what was strong and what to improve.
Can I resubmit if I fail?
Yes. A failed project comes back with feedback; revise the weak parts and resubmit. A passed project is final — the certificate is issued and cannot be re-rolled.
What do I actually submit?
A write-up of what you did (under 5,000 characters) plus a public link to your work — a Google Drive folder, Google Doc, spreadsheet, GitHub repository or video. The link must open without sign-in; a private link cannot be graded. The free project workbook on this page walks you through all 6 steps.
Is the certificate real?
Yes. Passing this project issues a certificate with a unique verification code. Anyone — an employer, a client, a school — can open the verification page and see that the certificate is genuine and which project earned it.
