What you will submit

A single shareable link (Google Doc/Drive) containing: (1) a brand brief with a voice brief, (2) your repeatable content workflow, (3) a batch of 10 edited, on-brand content pieces (6+ captions across 2+ platforms, 1+ longer post/description set, 1+ Hook/Body/CTA video script), (4) all the prompts you used shown, and (5) quality & honesty notes including a fact-check, a plagiarism declaration and 2 paired visual/video ideas.

What to do, step by step

  1. Choose ONE brand — a real small Nigerian business you know (with permission) or a clear sample brand you invent — and write a short brand brief at the top of your document: what they sell, who their audience is (age, place, situation), and a 3–4 line voice brief (tone, language, words they love/ban) as taught in Lesson 3.
  2. Write out your repeatable content workflow (Lesson 5) as clear steps — plan, draft, edit, design, schedule/review — so a reader can see the system you'd actually follow for this brand.
  3. Produce a batch of 10 finished content pieces for this brand: at least 6 social media captions (across at least two platforms), at least 1 longer post or short blog/product-description set, and at least 1 short-video script in Hook/Body/Call-to-action format. Every piece must be edited to sound human and on-brand — no raw AI clichés, with real Nigerian flavour and naira detail.
  4. Show ALL the prompts you used to generate the content, pasted directly below or beside each piece (or in a clearly labelled 'My Prompts' section). The prompts are core evidence that you built a real, repeatable method — not a one-off lucky copy-paste.
  5. Include a short 'quality and honesty notes' section: state one fact you checked (and how), confirm nothing is plagiarised or copied from another brand, and for at least 2 pieces briefly describe one design idea (the Canva visual or CapCut video) that would pair with the words, as taught in Lesson 6.
  6. Put everything into one shareable Google Doc (or Drive folder) with clear headings (Brand Brief, Workflow, The 10 Pieces, My Prompts, Quality & Honesty Notes), set sharing to 'anyone with the link can view', and submit the link.

How it is graded

CriterionWeight
The 10-piece content batch — at least 6 captions across 2+ platforms, 1+ longer post/description set, and 1+ short-video script in Hook/Body/CTA format, all complete and matching the brand35%
Human, on-brand editing — content follows the voice brief, sounds genuinely human with real Nigerian flavour and naira detail, and is free of obvious AI clichés and generic filler25%
Prompts shown & repeatable workflow — all prompts used are included, and a clear plan/draft/edit/design/review workflow is written out, proving a real reusable method20%
Quality, honesty & visuals — a real fact-check is shown, a plagiarism/originality declaration is made, and at least 2 paired Canva/CapCut visual ideas are described12%
Brand brief & presentation — a clear brand and voice brief, and one well-organised shareable document with the required labelled sections, viewable by anyone with the link8%

You need 65% overall to pass. A failed submission comes back with feedback and can be revised and resubmitted.

Before you submit: make your link public

If your work lives in Google Drive or Google Docs, open Share → General access and change “Restricted” to “Anyone with the link” (Viewer). Then paste the link into a private browser window: if it opens without sign-in, you are ready. A private link cannot be graded — it is the single most common reason a good project fails.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to finish AI Content Creation for Beginners before submitting the project?

Yes. The submission screen opens once every lesson in AI Content Creation for Beginners is marked complete. The lessons are where the methods, the Nigerian context and the worked examples the project depends on are taught.

How is the project graded?

An examiner scores each rubric criterion from 0 to 100 and weights them as shown on this page; you need 65% overall to pass. Most submissions are graded within minutes and you get written feedback on what was strong and what to improve.

Can I resubmit if I fail?

Yes. A failed project comes back with feedback; revise the weak parts and resubmit. A passed project is final — the certificate is issued and cannot be re-rolled.

What do I actually submit?

A write-up of what you did (under 5,000 characters) plus a public link to your work — a Google Drive folder, Google Doc, spreadsheet, GitHub repository or video. The link must open without sign-in; a private link cannot be graded. The free project workbook on this page walks you through all 6 steps.

Is the certificate real?

Yes. Passing this project issues a certificate with a unique verification code. Anyone — an employer, a client, a school — can open the verification page and see that the certificate is genuine and which project earned it.
