What you will submit
A single shareable link (Google Doc/Drive) to an AI-optimised job kit for one real role, containing five clearly labelled parts: (1) the job advert with extracted keywords, (2) a tailored ATS-friendly CV, (3) a LinkedIn rewrite (headline, About, Experience), (4) a personalised cover letter or outreach message, and (5) mock-interview prep notes with STAR answers and a salary range.
What to do, step by step
- Choose ONE real job you genuinely want — a current Nigerian opening (e.g. from Jobberman, MyJobMag or LinkedIn) or a real remote/global role — and paste the full job advert into your document. Using the keyword-extraction prompt from Lesson 2, list the role's top keywords and must-have requirements so the rest of your kit can target them honestly.
- Produce a tailored, ATS-friendly CV for that role (Lessons 2–3): a clean single-column layout, a 2–3 line professional summary tuned to the job, and experience written as achievement bullets (verb + action + result with real numbers). Mirror the advert's true keywords in the employer's wording — and include nothing you did not actually do.
- Rewrite your LinkedIn profile for the role (Lesson 4): write a keyword-rich headline, a warm first-person About section, and at least your most recent Experience entry with quantified bullets and a relevant Skills list. Paste your new headline, About and Experience text into the document (a link to your live profile is a bonus).
- Write a personalised cover letter or outreach message (Lesson 5) using the four-part structure: a genuine hook, your 2–3 most relevant real achievements, why you fit this team, and a polite call to action — AI-drafted but containing at least one unmistakably human, specific line that no AI could have produced.
- Create your mock-interview prep notes (Lesson 6): brief research on the company, 3 smart questions you'd ask the interviewer, at least 3 STAR-format answers to likely behavioural questions, and a researched salary range (in naira and, if remote, in USD) with how you'd answer the expectation question.
- Put all parts into one shareable Google Doc or Drive folder with clear headings (Job & Keywords, CV, LinkedIn, Cover Letter, Interview Prep), set sharing to 'anyone with the link can view', and submit the link. Make sure everything is truthful, Nigerian-real (naira, real platforms, scam-aware), and aimed at the specific role.

| Criterion | Weight |
|---|---|
| Tailored ATS-friendly CV — clean single-column layout, a role-tuned summary, achievement bullets with real numbers, and the advert's true keywords mirrored in the employer's wording (nothing fabricated) | 30% |
| LinkedIn rewrite — a keyword-rich headline, a warm first-person About, and a recent Experience entry with quantified bullets and a relevant skills list, all aligned to the target role | 20% |
| Cover letter / outreach — the four-part structure, the role's needs addressed with relevant real achievements, and at least one genuinely human, specific line (not generic AI slop) | 20% |
| Interview prep — company research, smart questions to ask, 3+ STAR-format answers to likely questions, and a researched naira (and USD if remote) salary range | 20% |
| Honesty, Nigerian realism & targeting — everything is truthful and verifiable, uses real platforms/naira and scam-awareness, and is clearly aimed at one specific real role with extracted keywords | 10% |
You need 65% overall to pass. A failed submission comes back with feedback and can be revised and resubmitted.
Before you submit: make your link public
If your work lives in Google Drive or Google Docs, open Share → General access and change “Restricted” to “Anyone with the link” (Viewer). Then paste the link into a private browser window: if it opens without sign-in, you are ready. A private link cannot be graded — it is the single most common reason a good project fails.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to finish AI Resume, LinkedIn & Interview Coach before submitting the project?
Yes. The submission screen opens once every lesson in AI Resume, LinkedIn & Interview Coach is marked complete. The lessons are where the methods, the Nigerian context and the worked examples the project depends on are taught.
How is the project graded?
An examiner scores each rubric criterion from 0 to 100 and weights them as shown on this page; you need 65% overall to pass. Most submissions are graded within minutes and you get written feedback on what was strong and what to improve.
Can I resubmit if I fail?
Yes. A failed project comes back with feedback; revise the weak parts and resubmit. A passed project is final — the certificate is issued and cannot be re-rolled.
What do I actually submit?
A write-up of what you did (under 5,000 characters) plus a public link to your work — a Google Drive folder, Google Doc, spreadsheet, GitHub repository or video. The link must open without sign-in; a private link cannot be graded. The free project workbook on this page walks you through all 6 steps.
Is the certificate real?
Yes. Passing this project issues a certificate with a unique verification code. Anyone — an employer, a client, a school — can open the verification page and see that the certificate is genuine and which project earned it.
