What you will submit
A single shareable link (Google Doc or similar) containing the one-page funnel map, the assets for each stage with links, the full text of the follow-up messages, and the measurement plan.
What to do, step by step
- Choose one real or realistic Nigerian business and one specific offer to sell (state the product/service and its price in naira), then identify the ideal customer: their problem, location and rough budget.
- Map all four stages on one page: Awareness (where the traffic comes from and the post/call-to-action), Interest (the lead magnet and how you capture contacts), Decision (the offer with its value stack and price), and Action (how they pay, plus one upsell or referral idea).
- Create or clearly describe the assets each stage needs: the awareness content idea, the lead magnet (a real Canva PDF, Google Sheet or discount), and a simple landing page or WhatsApp capture step built with a free tool (include the link or a screenshot/description).
- Write the full follow-up sequence as actual messages: a 5-message WhatsApp (or email) flow that welcomes them, gives value, presents the offer with its value stack, handles the top objection, and gives a final nudge.
- Add a one-page measurement plan: which numbers you'll track at each stage (views, contacts captured, sales, repeat/upsell), rough target conversion rates, and what you'll change if a particular stage leaks.
- Assemble everything into one shareable doc or link (Google Doc or similar): the funnel map, the assets and links, the full follow-up messages, and the measurement plan.

| Criterion | Weight |
|---|---|
| Funnel map and stages: all four stages (Awareness, Interest, Decision, Action) are clearly mapped for one specific offer, each with its job and the asset/message that moves people to the next stage. | 25% |
| Lead magnet, capture and landing page: a specific, relevant lead magnet matched to the offer is created and a simple landing page or WhatsApp capture step (built with a free tool) is shown with a working link or clear description. | 20% |
| Follow-up and offer: the offer uses a clear value stack and price, and a full 5-message follow-up sequence is written out that gives value, presents the offer, handles an objection, and nudges to action. | 25% |
| Measurement plan: the plan names the right numbers per stage, sets rough target conversion rates, and states what to change to fix the leakiest stage. | 15% |
| Nigerian relevance and ethics: the business, examples, money in naira, channels (WhatsApp, TikTok, Paystack) and tools are concrete and realistic, and selling is honest (no fake scarcity, no bought contacts). | 15% |
You need 65% overall to pass. A failed submission comes back with feedback and can be revised and resubmitted.
Before you submit: make your link public
If your work lives in Google Drive or Google Docs, open Share → General access and change “Restricted” to “Anyone with the link” (Viewer). Then paste the link into a private browser window: if it opens without sign-in, you are ready. A private link cannot be graded — it is the single most common reason a good project fails.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to finish Sales Funnel Building before submitting the project?
Yes. The submission screen opens once every lesson in Sales Funnel Building is marked complete. The lessons are where the methods, the Nigerian context and the worked examples the project depends on are taught.
How is the project graded?
An examiner scores each rubric criterion from 0 to 100 and weights them as shown on this page; you need 65% overall to pass. Most submissions are graded within minutes and you get written feedback on what was strong and what to improve.
Can I resubmit if I fail?
Yes. A failed project comes back with feedback; revise the weak parts and resubmit. A passed project is final — the certificate is issued and cannot be re-rolled.
What do I actually submit?
A write-up of what you did (under 5,000 characters) plus a public link to your work — a Google Drive folder, Google Doc, spreadsheet, GitHub repository or video. The link must open without sign-in; a private link cannot be graded. The free project workbook on this page walks you through all 6 steps.
Is the certificate real?
Yes. Passing this project issues a certificate with a unique verification code. Anyone — an employer, a client, a school — can open the verification page and see that the certificate is genuine and which project earned it.
