About this course

A practical course that follows Hauwa Bello, who runs a small tutorial centre in Abuja, and Dayo Martins, a Lagos freelancer who runs ads for other people's businesses, as they learn to use ChatGPT as an advertising assistant without wasting money or breaking the rules. You will learn what ads can and cannot fix, how to research customers and sharpen an offer with ChatGPT, how to write ad copy and reply scripts that sound Nigerian, how to make ad images with AI and label them properly, how to open ad accounts and pay from Nigeria, set up and read Meta and Google campaigns, and where TikTok, X and LinkedIn fit, which rules get ads rejected or fined (ARCON, NAFDAC, platform policies), and how to turn results into better ads. Two lessons cover advertising inside ChatGPT: how the placements, Ads Manager, bids and policies work as of October 2026, why Nigerian businesses cannot buy them yet, and how a Nigerian specialist can offer the service to clients in the countries where it is live. Hauwa Bello runs BrightPath Tutorial Centre in Wuse, Abuja: JAMB classes on weekday evenings, WAEC classes on Saturdays, and a recorded online course. Earlier this year she pressed the blue boost button under her best post and paid ₦20,000. The post got 300 likes. Two people sent enquiries. One of them asked, "Please, where is your centre?" because the post never said. Nobody enrolled. Her partner, Mr Idris, who keeps the accounts, looked at the ₦20,000 line in the ledger and asked the question this course is built on: "What exactly did we buy?" A friend recommended Dayo Martins, a Lagos freelancer who runs ads for small businesses. Dayo's first reply was not about ChatGPT at all. It was a rule.
